This is why it is important to check the hygiene practices of the restaurants you go to as well as avoid eating from street vendors.
  • Sunburn: While people with darker skin tend to be less sensitive to the sun, all people are vulnerable to it. Children should especially be protected, since most sun damage occurs during this stage of life. The warning signs of a sunburn include red, hot and sore skin. In severe cases, these signs include blisters, fever, chills, headaches and a general feeling of illness. Keep in mind that the effects of exposure to the sun’s rays accumulate over the years and even moderate exposure contributes to the appearance of wrinkles, hardened skin, freckles and even skin cancer.
