The pathology consists in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, hollow passageways air on the inside of the bones surrounding the nose. If the nose inflames it may block the ways causing pain.

  • Chronic: continuing for months end even years.
  • Recurrent: presenting several crises over a year.
