Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive perspiration. In addition to just being a health problem, this condition can also be uncomfortable. There are solutions to it, however.
Just because the body sweats, does not mean that there is a problem with how it is functioning; it just means that its sweat glands are secreting more than normal. There are different ways of treating this, depending on how serious the problem is.
One key factor can be weight. People with a poor diet that are overweight sweat more than normal; if this becomes problematic, it may become necessary to return to an average weight to see if the sweat glands reduce how much they secrete.
If the hyperhidrosis persists after doing this, it may be necessary to consider surgery to remove lymph nodes. However, it is important to keep in mind that this is only indicated for severe cases; for example, with people who suffer from hyperhidrosis and struggle with writing due the wetness the sweat from their hands leaves on the surfaces they have contact with.
In any case, it is important to see a dermatologist, as this is a condition that can be treated. In addition to natural remedies, there are also special prescription antiperspirants that can mitigate the condition.
