This service, known as Telesalud, provides affiliates with orientation from a team of professionals. It is another alternative to visiting your doctor.
The affiliates of Coomeva Emergency Medicine (CEM) and Coomeva Private Healthcare can receive comprehensive healthcare orientations by phone with Telesalud. This service can help save a trip to a healthcare facility and eases access to immediate orientation. Nutritionists, psychologists, nurses and general practitioners are available and trained to provide assistance when it is most needed. “With the safety and support of professionals, we seek to provide a tool that offers immediate access in meeting the needs our users; promoting self-care and having a positive impact on the health of our affiliates,” indicates Martha Diuza, CEM Telesalud Coordinator. The program offers the following branches of service:
Teleassistance: Orientation for affiliates in four areas of healthcare: psychology, nutrition, nursing and general medicine.
This phone line provides education, support, security and eases the minds of users and their support networks to help to improve their state of health.
Telecare: Guides and follows up with patients who have chronic health risks or conditions that have been previously identified by CEM. By helping educate patients on preventing health risks, this service encourages patients to adhere to their treatments and improves the quality of life of users and their support networks.
Follow-up care: Helps complete the process of at-home medical care service patients receive by focusing on how their health is evolving after a visit with the CEM at-home medical team. The helps verify the patient is following the doctor’s instructions and prescribed treatment, provides education, and offers recommendations, among others.
Affiliates can use this service by calling the free nationwide hotline at 01-800-091-8082 Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
